Who Should Not Take Xopenex?

You should not take Xopenex if you are allergic to Xopenex, levalbuterol, or any of the inactive components used to make Xopenex. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients. Also, you should not take the drug if you are allergic to albuterol, a similar medication.
