Symbiocort

People who experience symptoms of asthma may benefit from Symbicort®. This prescription medication is a combination medication, containing budesonide and formoterol, and works in two ways. It can help decrease inflammation in the airways that makes asthma attacks more likely. Symbicort also works by relaxing the muscles around the airways, which helps open up the airways to allow more air into and through the lungs. Some of the common side effects seen with this drug include headaches, throat pain, and upper respiratory tract infections.
