Symbicort® (budesonide and formoterol) is a prescription medication that helps prevent COPD and asthma symptoms by reducing inflammation and opening up the airways. This medication comes in the form of a metered-dose inhaler that is typically used twice a day. It is possible to take too much Symbicort. Make sure to seek immediate medical attention if you think you may have taken an overdose. Signs of a Symbicort overdose include vomiting, chest pain, and seizures.
