Pyknogenol

Were you looking for information on Pycnogenol? Pyknogenol is a common misspelling of Pycnogenol.

Pycnogenol® is a dietary supplement extracted from the bark of French maritime pine trees. Other sources, such as grape seed extract, contain pycnogenols, but they are not the same thing as patented Pycnogenol. The supplement supposedly provides several health benefits, such as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, as well as stimulating the immune system. While more research is needed to determine the actual effectiveness of Pycnogenol, there is strong evidence that it can treat asthma, chronic venous insufficiency, and retinopathy.
