Pulmocord

Were you looking for information on Pulmicort? Pulmocord is a common misspelling of Pulmicort.

As a "controller medication," Pulmicort® prevents asthma attacks rather than treating them once they occur. Because of this, people with asthma should also have a "rescue medication" available for emergencies. Pulmicort works by opening up the airways, which enables more air to get into and through the lungs. It is typically taken once or twice a day.
