Proventil Drug Interactions

In the case of Proventil, drug interactions may occur when the medication is taken with medicines such as Zebeta, Lasix, or Digitek. Other drug interactions with Proventil may occur when the medicine is taken with an MAOI (such as Marplan) or a tricyclic antidepressant (such as Vivactil).

 

An Overview of Proventil Drug Interactions

Proventil® (albuterol inhaler) can potentially interact with a few other medicines. Some of these medicines that may lead to Proventil interactions include:
 
  • Certain diuretics, such as: 
  • Digoxin (Digitek®, Lanoxin®)
     
  • Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), including:
