Provental

Were you looking for information about Proventil? Provental is a common misspelling of Proventil.

Proventil® (albuterol inhaler) is a medicine that is used to prevent or treat airway spasms (bronchospasms) that are associated with asthma and other lung conditions. The medication belongs to a class of drugs called beta-adrenergic receptor agonists and most commonly comes in an inhaler. Proventil stimulates beta receptors in the body, which helps the muscles around the airways to relax and allows more air to get into and through the lungs. Before using Proventil, notify your doctor if you have high blood pressure or any form of heart disease (including congestive heart failure).
