Were you looking for information on Proventil? Preventil is a common misspelling of Proventil.
Proventil® uses are primarily concerned with treating and preventing bronchospasms (also known as airway spasms) caused by asthma and other lung problems. The medication comes in the form of an inhaler and is part of a class of drugs called beta-adrenergic receptor agonists. Proventil stimulates beta receptors in the body, which helps muscles around the airways to relax, allowing more air to get into and through the lungs. Reported side effects include shakiness, nausea, and nervousness.
