Were you looking for information on Proventil? Preventel is a common misspelling of Proventil.

Proventil® is commonly prescribed to prevent or treat airway spasms due to asthma or certain other conditions. The medication comes in the form of an inhaler and is part of a class of drugs called beta-adrenergic receptor agonists. The drug works by stimulating beta receptors in the body, which helps muscles around the airways to relax and allows more air to get into and through the lungs. Possible side effects of Proventil include shakiness, nausea, and nervousness.
