Maxair Uses in Children

Maxair is approved for children at least 12 years old. It may be difficult for young children to correctly use the Maxair inhaler. Be sure to talk with your healthcare provider about the best ways to treat childhood asthma.
 

Off-Label Maxair Uses

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend Maxair for treating something other than the conditions discussed above. This is called an "off-label" use. At this time, off-label Maxair uses may include the prevention of exercise-induced asthma (see Asthma and Exercise).
