You should not take zafirlukast if you:
 
  • Are allergic to zafirlukast, Accolate, or any inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
  • Have liver disease, including (but not limited to) cirrhosis of the liver.
