Salmeterol is approved for use in children four years of age and older. Young children usually require help using the Serevent Diskus correctly. Be sure to talk with your healthcare provider about the best ways to treat childhood asthma.

Is Salmeterol Used Off-Label?

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend salmeterol for treating something other than the conditions discussed above. At this time, there are no universally accepted off-label salmeterol uses.
