Asthma Home > Pulmicourt

Were you looking for information on Pulmicort? Pulmicourt is a common misspelling of Pulmicort.

Pulmicort® is a prescription drug used to prevent asthma attacks before they start, rather than treating them once they occur. The medication comes in two forms: the Pulmicort Flexhaler® and Pulmicort Respules®. It works by opening up the airways, allowing more air to get into and through the lungs. Pulmicort is used once or twice a day. Commonly reported side effects include sore throat, coughing, and viral infections.

(Click Pulmicort for more information, including general precautions and warnings to be aware of with Pulmicort and what to tell your healthcare provider before taking it.)
