Asthma Home > Pullmicort

Were you looking for information on Pulmicort? Pullmicort is a common misspelling of Pulmicort.

Pulmicort® is a prescription drug used to prevent, but not treat, asthma attacks. It works by opening up the airways, which better allows air to get into and through the lungs. This, in turn, makes it easier for people with asthma to breathe. Because Pulmicort is not appropriate for everyone, tell your healthcare provider about all other medical conditions you have before taking it.

(Click Pulmicort to learn more, including the various forms of Pulmicort, when and how it is taken, and what to do in case of overdose.)
