Asthma Home > Pycnogenol Liquid Supplements

Pycnogenol® is a patented extract that many people take in the form of a liquid supplement. It is claimed to help with a number of conditions, such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), high blood pressure, chronic venous insufficiency, and asthma. Some people claim that it can also stimulate the immune system and strengthen collagen and elastin in the body. Side effects may include headaches, nausea, and dizziness.

Although it is made from the bark of French maritime pine trees, Pycnogenol should not be confused with the general term "pycnogenols."
