Asthma Home > Adivar

Were you looking for information on Advair? Adivar is a common misspelling of Advair.

Advair® is licensed to prevent airway spasms due to asthma and to treat these spasms in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The medication is called a "controller medication," which means it can be used to prevent asthma attacks. However, Advair does not work quickly enough to treat asthma attacks once they occur. Possible side effects include headaches, sore throat, and bronchitis.

(Click Advair for the complete eMedTV article. It describes in more detail the conditions the drug is used to treat, how it works, dosing information, and more.)
