Drug Interactions With Levalbuterol HFAA number of medications may cause drug interactions with levalbuterol HFA, including certain diuretics, tricyclic antidepressants, digoxin, monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), and beta blockers. Taking these drugs with levalbuterol HFA can decrease the effectiveness of the medicines and may lead to side effects such as dangerously high blood pressure, low potassium levels, or irregular heart rhythm.
