Flowvent

Were you looking for information about Flovent? Flowvent is a common misspelling of Flovent.

Flovent® is a prescription drug used to prevent asthma attacks. It is part of a class of asthma medications known as inhaled corticosteroids. It comes in two forms, the HFA inhaler and the Diskus inhaler (a dry powder inhaler). "HFA" stands for hydrofluoroalkane, which is the propellant used in the inhalers. Because Flovent HFA uses hydrofluoroalkane, it is an environmentally friendly inhaler. This has replaced the old Flovent® inhaler, which contained substances that may deplete the ozone layer.
