Asmanex® is a prescription medication commonly used to prevent asthma attacks, as opposed to treating them once they start. The medication comes in a special inhaler called the Asmanex Twisthaler®, and it is taken once or twice a day. Side effects that can occur with Asmanex include upper respiratory infections, headaches, and sore throat.
