Asmanex Side Effects to Report

There are a number of possible side effects with Asmanex that you should report immediately to your healthcare provider. These include but are not limited to:
 
  • Worsening of asthma
  • Signs of an allergic reaction, including an unexplained rash, hives, itching, and unexplained swelling.
     

Less Common Asmanex Side Effects

There are other Asmanex side effects that occur less frequently. These Asmanex side effects occur in 3 percent or less of people taking the medication. In the case of these possible side effects, it can be difficult to tell whether they are actually caused by Asmanex or factors unrelated to the medication.
 
These less common Asmanex side effects include but are not limited to:
 
  • Fatigue
  • A fever
  • Gas
  • Vomiting
  • Loss of appetite
  • Earaches
  • Insomnia
  • A bloody nose
  • Urinary tract infections (bladder infections).
     

Final Thoughts on Asmanex Side Effects

It is possible that you may experience some or none of the Asmanex side effects explained above. Unfortunately, there is no way for your healthcare provider to know beforehand if you will have side effects from a medicine that you have never tried. Therefore, make sure to let your healthcare provider know if you develop any side effects while taking Asmanex. Also let your healthcare provider know if you develop something that "just does not seem right" during treatment with Asmanex. While it may not be a side effect of Asmanex, your healthcare provider will be able to diagnose and treat the problem.
