Final Thoughts on Stopping Advair

Be sure to talk with your healthcare provider before stopping Advair. Stopping Advair may cause a worsening of COPD or asthma symptoms. If you have been taking a very high Advair dose (higher than the usual recommended dosage), it is recommended that you stop taking Advair slowly in order to give your body enough time to increase its natural steroid production. In all cases, stopping Advair should always be done under the supervision of your healthcare provider.
