Advair Inhaler Side Effects

Because Advair® (fluticasone and salmeterol) is not suitable for everyone, make sure you talk to your healthcare provider about any other medical conditions you may have and any other medications you are taking (including non-prescription medications, vitamins, and herbal supplements) before starting treatment with this medication. Some of the most common Advair inhaler side effects include:
 
Although side effects of Advair tend to be minor, there are some serious side effects of the medication that require immediate medical attention. Contact your healthcare provider right away if you experience problems such as depression, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or an irregular heart rhythm.
 
Other Advair warnings and precautions apply to women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, as well as people who have certain allergies (including allergies to foods, dyes, or preservatives). Also, you may not be able to take Advair if you have medical conditions such as high blood pressure, osteoporosis, or epilepsy.
